Organising interviews is almost as easy as booking them:
- First set up a new interview timetable. Simply enter the date, the
start and end times, the interview length, and any text you want to include
on the interview confirmation emails.
- Then make sure the teacher list is up-to-date. The first time you use our service,
you will need to enter teachers' names and subjects - you can do this by manually
filling out a form, or by copying data from a spreadsheet.
- Set up breaks for teachers. You can accomodate teachers who need to pick up
their own children, or who need to leave early.
- Publicise the interview evening, including the website address and your unique
school code.
Now you can sit back and watch while parents organise their interviews. You can monitor how
bookings are going, and handle parent enquiries directly from your computer - changing interview
times takes seconds, since you don't have to liase with the teachers involved.
Nothing causes louder groans in the school office than a teacher falling ill before an
interview evening, because it usually means hours of tracking down parents. But School
Interviews lets you cancel all of a teacher's interviews in just two clicks, and automatically
emails cancellation notices to each and every affected parent.
On the day of the interviews, you download, print and distribute professionally formatted
teacher timetables. And if you want to allow last-minute bookings, you can set up a kiosk
at the school for parents to book vacant slots during the evening itself.
There is one last step:
- Pat yourself on the back. You've saved time for parents, teachers and children; reduced
printing costs and paper; and brought your school's parent-teacher interviews into the
21st century.
So that's how our service works - click here to
